and on the 4th day...

I've heard nightmares about Alli. If you eat something fatty on accident, like if you eat out at a restaurant and order grilled chicken, but unbeknownst to you, that particular restaurant marinates their chicken breasts in OIL, you get an uncontrolable "oily discharge" from your a-hole. I considered it, too, until I read all these stories about it. Gross.

I'm a HUGE fan of juicing. Fruits, veggies, etc. are fun to juice and the result is 100% healthy. Just make sure you use organic or at least all natural produce so you're not drinking a cup full of pesticides and hormones. Eeewwww.

I don't know my starting weight. I need to purchase a scale.

i know my starting weight. not as scary as i thought, but duuuuude. i've gained 40 pounds in 4 years. you always hear about people getting married and gaining weight - fuck, i might as well be married. what's even more messed up is that when i was 40 pounds lighter, 4 years ago, i thought i was chunky and needed to lose some weight then. now i look at pictures, and i'm like...whatthefuck?? i looked good! dammit! what have i done!?!?!?!?

anyway. super frustrating. but i think losing a few pounds a month is nothing, as long as i keep up with what i eat and excercise 4-5 days a week.
You know one huge diet saboteur is alcohol. SOOOoooo many calories. I've sworn off beer and been drinking wine, since I know it's not AS bad. A vodka tonic can have like 250 calories! Times that by however many I'd have on a regular night downtown, and we're talking a whole day's worth of calories. Gin and diet soda is a popular one, but I just can't get down with it.
i heard gin is the best liquor to drink while dieting, and i actually enjoy gin and tonic with lime. it's a bit bland, but the lime helps.

i have to swear off bourbon. this is going to be soooo hard! i love my bourbon, but it's full of sugar! :(
taebo & diet change is how my mom dropped 50 lbs in a few months. it was amazing and she was in her late forties when her metabolism was in the toilet. good for you, britt! i am proud of you for doing this. now if you can just get favre to let you have the damn tv.
riiight! well i texted him from work today and told him that i was going to work out when i got home whether he was there or not. he was pretty obliging.

how often & for how long each day did your mom do taebo? i've been thinking about getting a taebo dvd because i loooove the wii fit boxing, and i want to do something similar, but with more intensity. even the 10 minute boxing work out is too easy for me now, after just 2 days!

if your mom has any diet tips, lemme know. :)
